  1. First time viewing your art. I am very blunt and opinionated as you know and never hold back my opinion even if it is unflattering. Your art I LIKE! Do not care for modern art for the most part. Yours is an interesting combination of old school with a dash of modernity to spice it up!

    • I know from your posts on Facebook, David, that you speak the truth here!:-) I am so happy that since you chose to comment on my art that it was positive! Thank you so much! I’m glad you like them.

  2. I truly love your work! Every piece evokes some memory, happy thought, or good feeling within me. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world, Olivia! 🙂

    • Nothing makes me happier as a painter than to read that my paintings are evoking feelings, memories, and thoughts in a viewer! Thank you so much! I truly appreciate your kind words.

  3. How very beautiful. I found you quite by accident when I read a post of yours on Facebook. How I wish I could afford one of your paintings. Anyone would be blessed to have any of your works, which are personal and yet able to connect with the viewer, hanging in their home.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words. How do you know you can’t afford one of my paintings? You might be surprised. Again, thank you. I appreciate your comment very much.

  4. Such amazing paintings Olivia great talent you have. Or they in oil or acryl? I try watercolors for the moment but don’t think it’s my thing..difficult. ❤️ Ur art work 👍

    • Thank you so much, Vera. Actually, I don’t think watercolor difficult, just totally different approach and techniques. I like the creaminess, luminosity and textures of oil best. It is the tried and true for hundreds of years. I paint in acrylic, but it is definitely not my preference. I call acrylic paint “the poor man’s oil.” It is plastic-based, not biodegradable, and though you can make it appear (somewhat) as an oil painting, it is never as rich looking. Try oil. You’ll love it!
